MARIO LEMIEUX FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES MARIO MOSAIC FUNDRAISER AT CONSOL ENERGY CENTER

The Mario Mosaic, when completed, will be a collection of images from thousands of Pittsburgh Penguins fans, Mario Lemieux Foundation supporters and cancer survivors that come together to create a 20' x 8' tribute image that will be on display in the main lobby of the new Consol Energy Center.

Supporters can be a part of Pittsburgh Penguins history by having their photo permanently on display in the Mario Mosaic. Photographs can be uploaded for a donation of $66.00 at www.mariolemieux.org/mariomosaic.

Fans will be able to view their photograph and the full tribute image when the mosaic is unveiled in Consol Energy Center in October 2010. A website will also be launched where participants can view the mosaic, zoom in on photos, view information about each photo and share the Mario Mosaic with friends.

Photos will be collected until August 31. The final Mario Mosaic tribute image will be unveiled in October.

All proceeds benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising funds for cancer and neonatal research and Austin's Playroom Project, an initiative that creates sibling playrooms in medical facilities.

THE GROUP PHOTO OPTION

Companies or large groups can pre-purchase photos and distribute photo codes to employees, family or friends. Take advantage of this unique opportunity by giving back to your employees and being a part of the new CONSOL Energy Center - all while supporting the Mario Lemieux Foundation!

Access the group option on the Mario Mosaic website by clicking on "Donate and Upload Your Photo(s)," then select the "Upload 6 or more photos" option. Complete payment for the total number of photos, and your photo codes will be emailed to you.

Then, distribute the photo codes to your employees, friends or relatives, and they will be able to upload a pre-paid photo to the Mario Mosaic!
