Nathalie Lemieux’s Chicks with Sticks presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield was created in 2007 as a fundraiser for Austin’s Playroom Project. The all-female golf event, held at various courses around the Pittsburgh region, has generated funding for maintenance and room improvements in multiple Austin’s Playroom Project locations. In 2012, over 75 golfers attended the event that raised over $20,000.
