About The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center
The Foundation has created unique spaces at the Children's Home, collectively called the Lemieux Family Center, which support and nurture families during the difficult process of transitioning from hospital care to life back at home. Many amenities are complimentary for families including: parking, sibling play areas, transportation, the family living area, lap top lending computers, outside play spaces and child friendly activities.
"Austin's Playroom is an oasis of fun in the middle of what can be a terrifically difficult time for a child with a sibling in the hospital. To have a place where they can relax and behave like kids again is a tremendous benefit for our families."

The Petrucci Family's Experience "The playroom has provided the comforts of home to us. It gave us a place to go when Josie wanted to play while visiting her brother at the hospital, and we could still feel assured that if we needed a nurse they were only seconds away. We were able to truly be a family with the help of Austin's Playroom and The Children's Home."
